Space Apple

At the start of spring semester and new classes comes tutorials and the basics for anyone who needs it. In my Digital Imaging class we were going over Adobe Photoshop tutorials. A lot of the content that we were covering are things I already know to to do so I was given some time to work with the practice files the professor gave and do whatever I want with it. Instead of relearning what she was teaching I went on to something more creative. The topic of the class was merging and layering. I layered and edited several photos that she provided till I got something very pretty. I messed with the color of the hands for them to show up and faded the apple. The space and marbling texture together made the background look beautiful of space. At this point I took creative liberty to make it into a

sci-fi poster. I faded the title and streaming info slightly to go well with the background and made the platform, which I randomly picked as BBC America, a pop of color to match the color in space. Finally, I added an outer glow to the apple to seem more sci-fi like and also emphasis and called it done. I think it looks really cool for something I was just messing around with it. I am very happy with it. Adobe Photoshop tutorial to a sci-fi poster for fun. Who knew?
