Snowy Night Bumper Animation

It took me a while to figure out what I wanted to do that wasn’t already something that could be easily taken as an idea. I thought of the front cover of the bulletin with all of the snow and I thought I could do something with that. I wanted to call it “Snowy Night”. The event resembles what kids could do on a snowy cold night. They would have snacks, games, a movie and maybe in PJs and blankets. I went to Youtube to find a source of creating snowflakes and found a good tutorial that I followed for the most part. I put my own twist on this when it came to rigid body things and such. It was hard to get normal three point lighting so I had to work with 3 sun lights to get my scene to work and also the rendering process was horrible. The product I wanted was something totally different than I would’ve liked to have. I had the snow flakes hit the ground and slightly bounce and then dissolve to disappear. I have rendered and changed settings 4 times now to the point I am lost. Though, the snow falling itself that I do have is still pretty nice. If I find a solution to this and do what I was hoping to do I will post an update at a later date. I took a lot of crunch time as I finished up other assignments and I hope to get my MacBook fixed soon because I am still living here and almost sometimes I might as well sleep here. This project almost had me do that. I am really living here.
