For our interview we chose Sarah's grandparents. They live very close to campus so it was easy to meet with them and do the interview. They were very nice to work with and had a lot of interesting things to say. They were able to answer all our questions with intelligent sounding wording. They were amazing interviewees.

The process of filming was a little stressful but overall fun to figure out. I was able to figure out the tripods as I've never used that high advanced tripods before. Sophie got to figure out how to use the incorrect voice recorder they gave us so it could work to our needs. We worked with syncing the cameras and exploring the camera's capabilities. The interview went so well with explaining how the interviewees should answer by giving them some guidance. We were able to get everything we needed by our second take which was great and after that was b-roll time. Their house was filled with so many cool things from their missionary work that would look really cool in the interview. For me this required a lot of ISO and zoom work with the camera and figuring out its limits of clarity and distance from what I was filming in order to get the camera to get what I was hoping to record. I found I couldn't take super close shots because the focus didn't allow me to take that close of shots, even when I zoomed in so I learned my limits of filming. When it came to the task recorder, it was really exciting to do tests and hear it through Sarah's laptop on how good the audio is. Overall it was so exciting to work with the cameras and recorder for this project.
