Christmas in retail always comes earlier than you would hope for so here's Kitten with this month's November FELINE issue. Photo credit goes to Professor Rachel O'Connor for submitting this sweet boy.
Kitten is your gorgeous standard American Shorthair. Cats like these are known to be one of the most common house cats you can find. They have beautiful coats that range in colors and have some tiger or spotted like markings. A lot of American Shorthairs are a mixture of cats in heritage and can make wonderful house pets.
Kitten has received his nickname due to several stomach obstruction surgeries from eating things he shouldn't have. "Christmas Kitty" as the nurses call him is because one of those surgeries was due to him eating parts of a Christmas tree. All cats around these holidays can be a menace to our Christmas trees if we don't pay attention.
