Tiger is back for another spotlight on the cover of FELINE. Anna found me a second picture of Tiger that was so magazine worthy. Accompanied with a quote my friend Elena came up with, "Tarot cards? Nah tiger paws", cat food advertisements and an advertisement for looking flawless despite Tiger's weight, Tiger is The Sleeping Prince for March's issue.

I let all of the wording be in front of the picture without any masking as I didn't need to for this issue. I added a drop shadow to the quote on the left to pull it out from the background so it wouldn't get lost within the picture. I also added an outerglow to Tiger's title to bring it out as well. I tried to keep things balanced and went further on font experimentation.

I like experimenting with fonts and font pairing. I wanted to add more color than just white this time. I tried a different color for Tiger's title, pulling the color from his fur. Also, I wanted to try different uses of emphasis. Some words are bigger than others such as FISH-ILICIOUS. At the last moment I tried adding the yellow for emphasis' on words I wanted emphasized but not as much as the bigger ones. Italicized and coloring was the best way to achieve this.
