Digital Sculpture Phase 2

The artists sculptures I sketched in my last post have been turned into 3D!

I used tinkercad to recreate the sculptures from the 5 artists I chose. I picked 1 sculpture from each artist to recreate and used geometric shapes and cutting tools to create the forms. My favorite 3D sculpture that I have done is Alice Aycock's Hoop La piece (the white looping sculpture in the pictures). When I first saw this piece I thought it was going to be extremely hard, so I attempted her other sculpture I chose and found that to be harder. I came back to Hoop La expecting it to be very challenging but ended up being easier than I expected. I enjoyed this project despite the boundaries I had while creating these 3D forms. They all turned out relatively in my opinion and I am content with them.
