App Home Screen Ideas

Divinity Baptist Church's home screen for their new app in progress!

Idea one is my favorite so far because of it's simplistic design and organization. The graphics and icons are clear and well designed. The font pairing is good in my opinion. I kept the main stuff on the front and the universal navigational tool at the bottom still has its labels as well to make this a simple and easy app to use for the church.

Idea two is my second favorite home screen idea. It's got the notorious prominent sectioned off header and footer. The navigational tools in the footer are contrasted well against it's background. I went with some inspiration to give this more dynamic by using what some other churches do with the sectional boxes. I made four going with the theme light and contrasted with the text. I also included a thank you at the bottom right along with the universal email for easy access more than the connect tab for the rest of the media links/names.

Idea three is my least favorite but still done pretty well. It has a defined header and footer. I changed the background to the color of the bulletin cover's color. I made boxes like idea one with shadow to it to add dimension and some uniqueness. The navigational tools are the same at the bottom. This design is more dynamic and unbalanced but unified at the same time based on the drastic contrast of colors.
