Phase B
Phase B will be composed of two parts that allow for attention to detail, a site map and a
visual mock up.
Phase B focuses on functionality and design in a flushed out form. This phase allows for
the development of ideas and visual content without a stress on implementation of interactivity.
Think about how the website is interactive and what parts catch the user's eyes through moving
parts and little Easter eggs that make the experience more exciting, but also benefits functionality
and efficiency. This phase will include phase A updates as well.
The site map is a legible design of the wire frames created in phase A to show how the
web pages interact with each other. Implement details that show the interaction effectively and
simplified. Add all the textual detail needed as well to explain what is necessary for a client to
understand the functions of the website with little visual design. The site map should be uploaded
as a 11 x 17 PDF and can have as many pages as needed to go into detail.
The visual mock up of the website can use the layout of phase A wire frame layout or the
site map mock up. Either way this stage is to show the finished content of every webpage without
interactivity. This part focuses on visual design and user appeal. If there are moving parts to this
phase upload it as a still and label them as moving parts. The visual mock up should be uploaded
as another 11 x 17 PDF that can also have as many pages as needed.
